Lisa Grimmett – Master Stylist, Master Colorist, Hair Designer, Salon Owner

Growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, “the Paris of South America,” Lisa began a love affair with hair styling and beauty. In a city that exudes a European sensibility, as well as its own exciting leading-edge urban style, she discovered how a great haircut and hair color could become her best accessories. These added to her self-confidence and showcased her uniqueness. She wanted to share this “discovery” with the world. She dreamed of becoming a stylist and owning her own salon.

She trained in the fashion-forward techniques of the best in the business—British-based icons Vidal Sassoon and Anthony Mascolo. She mastered British precision cuts, added Italian flair, and applied geometry to personalize a client’s look.

Today, as owner of Lakeside Salon (since 2003), Lisa applies these and evolving techniques and trends to her clients—bringing out their best attributes; adapting these to their personality and lifestyle. When Lisa’s client looks in the mirror, their reflection of a job well done contributes to bringing out their best in whatever they do. Fun facts: Lisa’s “lifeforce” is her insatiable curiosity; it has made her a continuous learner. She is often immersed in a book, a podcast, or a college class. She applies this curiosity to personal/professional development, on walks when exploring nature or in understanding another’s point-of-view.
