Lakeside Salon, at The Landing, is a full-service hair and beauty salon in Westlake Village, CA. Founded in 2003, by Master Stylist, Lisa Grimmett, our Lakeside Salon’s story started thousands of miles away from today’s salon by the lake.
While growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, “the Paris of South America,” Lisa began a love affair with styling and beauty. In a city that exudes a European sensibility, as well as its own exciting leading-edge urban styles, she discovered that a great hair design, haircut and hair color are a person’s best accessories—ones that add to self-confidence and showcase an individual’s uniqueness.
Lisa wanted to share this “discovery” with the world and dreamed of becoming a stylist and owning her own salon. She trained in the creative and fashion-forward techniques of the best in the business—British-based icons Vidal Sassoon and Anthony Mascolo. She mastered British precision cuts, added Italian flair, and applied geometry to personalize a client’s look through hair design.

Today, as the owner of The Lakeside Salon in Westlake Village, CA., the premise of finding that which is “Uniquely You,” in hair design, haircut and hair color, is delivered everyday by Lisa and our talented and imaginative hair stylists.
We create hair designs that reflect masterful cuts, evolving techniques and next-trends. These are drawn from style inspirations that are from close to home, like California casual and Hollywood glam; or are worldwide in their origins and are showcased at the Cosmoprof/International Beauty Expos and European Collection Runway Shows. Additional inspiration may come from the most unexpected sources; like an African bird’s plumage or from the individualistic and expressive participants at the annual world-renowned Coachella Arts and Music Festival.
